Sara's Garden Party

On Sunday Sara hosted a social event for Food4Macc members in her garden. In addition to home-made food, there was a bric-a-brac stall and a plant sale, which together raised £80 for Food4Macc.

A big "Thank You" to Sara and her family for volunteering to run this event.

Progress Report

On our Bollin Valley site we have now cleared the first beds, by lifting the turf.

A little further down the valley there is a community orchard planted by the Bollin Valley Rangers a few years ago.

At The Rowans a wind-break Laurel hedge has been planted, and the first beds have been laid out.

Our Sainsbury's bag packing day today raised £334 and we were able to talk to lots of people interested in gardening.
