Food4macc is an organisation promoting local food growing in Macclesfield to make food supplies resilient to Peak Oil and Carbon Reduction. Many of the objectives of the Transition Town movement are shared.

Preliminary work at Belong, Kennedy Avenue
Work has begun on a new project site; the Belong Care Home off Kennedy avenue. With the help of Macclesfield Community Garden Centre we have started to clear an area ready for the construction of a raised bed, and compost bins are well advanced.
